How You Can Help
We are a non-profit organization. All of our funding comes from dog adoptions, fundraisers, and generous donations from the wonderful people that care about what we do for the dogs. All donations are greatly appreciated. If you would rather donate items to our organization, we are always in need of the following supplies:
- Dry Dog Food- our corporate donors have been falling behind with the difficult economic times and we've had to buy about 200lbs of food a week for the last several months. We desperately need your help donors.
- Toys- PET EDGE is a great source for buying toys at wholesale prices (http://www.petedge.com/). Some of the dogs' favorite toys are listed below.
- Giggler Ball
- TireBiter PawTracker
- Chompions
- Galileo Bones
- Nylabones
- Treats- bog biscuits, soft chewy treats, rawhides, pig ears- they love 'em all.
- Paper Towels to clean up the occasional "oops" while at a dog outing
- Dog Houses- cold weather is just around the corner and our new facility needs more shelters
- Kennels- more land means more room to house rescue dogs and we'll need kennels to house them
- Crates- necessary for hauling dogs to/from adoption events
- Dog Beds/Blankets- everyone enjoys a cozy bed to sleep in; our dogs will gladly accept your comforters and blankets when you are ready to buy new ones! (The luckiest dogs will even offer to share the bed and blanket with you if you adopt them!)
Please, Please, Please, if you know of an area possibly becoming a BSL (breed specific legislation) area, write letters to anyone and everyone, protesting against it. Education is the best way!
